For their first Signature Series partnership, Asics has collaborated with Cecilie Bahnsen, who has applied her signature style to the GEL-CUMULUS 16 sneaker. Bahnsen aimed to juxtapose femininity and masculinity by incorporating delicate, transparent materials and light floral motifs onto an otherwise masculine shoe. This is highlighted by the contrast between shiny and opaque surfaces, hardness and softness, and light and shadow.
